I recently attended the annual conference for the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine in Queenstown where I enjoyed two days of learning new techniques and the latest products available in New Zealand .
‘Profhilo has been available in Europe for the last 5 years but recently came to NZ in August this year. ‘This anti-aging product is a real game changer consisting of Hyaluronic Acid which unlike other Hyaluronic Acids known as Dermal Fillers ,has a unique structure enabling it to provide instant hydration and improve the elasticity and tone of the skin whilst not adding volume .Suitable treatment areas where skin has lost its elasticity and tone are the face, neck,décolletage, back of the hands and upper arms ,which have often previously been difficult to treat. ‘Treatment consists of 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart, followed by another treatment at 6 to 9 months to prolong its effectiveness. Make an appointment to see me to discuss this treatment further as to whether it may be suitable for you!

The 8 point lift is a specialised lifting and volumising technique also referred to as the "non surgical facelift "or "liquid facelift ".
It uses dermal fillers to enhance and discreetly lift the face for a total rejuvenating effect . Who is it for? On its own or combined with Botulinum Toxin A the 8 point lift is ideal for patients who have noticed the early signs of ageing but for whom it's too soon for face left surgery if that is what they desire . Not all points may need injecting, it is a bespoke treatment that depends on an individual's features. It takes extensive training and an artistic eye. Essentially the treatment is a reversal of the pull of gravity because if you reinflate specific points of the face you get the effect of a lift .. Like a hammock .. If its sagging you tighten the supports .... Results last around 18 months and there are other skin benefits too .. fillers increase the skin's volume over time and tighten it. The fillers are made of synthesised hylauronic acid , a naturally occurring substance in the skin that decreases as we age. Over time as the filler also stimulates regeneration of your own natural collagen , the quality of the skin continues to be significantly improved . Results generally last 12 to 18 months . |
